Transportation accounts for 30% of greenhouse gas emissions in Toronto. To reach Toronto’s TransformTO climate goals, we must electrify all of our transportation (cars, trucks, buses) and walk or cycle for most of our short trips by the year 2050. The City of Toronto is committed to creating infrastructure that will support this transition. We need your help to make changes in how we all get around the city.

The energy we use to heat, cool and power buildings is the biggest source of Toronto’s greenhouse gas emissions. It accounts for over 50% of our city-wide emissions.
The City of Toronto and many organizations across the city are working to make our existing and new buildings net-zero by 2050. But we can’t do it alone.
